What:
The Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County presents Charlotte Observer Columnist and former Observer Book Editor Dannye Romine Powell along with retired Observer Editorial Page Editor Ed Williams. The two who will share their insight and wisdom about Eudora Welty, the Southern novelist and short story writer. Welty wrote The Optimist's Daughter and won a Pulitzer Prize for fiction in 1973 for Losing Battles.
