Myers Park Branch Library is located in the heart of the historic Myers Park neighborhood, at the intersection of Providence and Queens Roads. It was the first branch built by the Public Library in 1956. In 2008, the building underwent an expansion and renovation. The branch maintains a quiet neighborhood atmosphere while providing full library services to our patrons.
In addition to the collection on hand, staff can assist patrons in quickly obtaining items from the entire PLCMC collection, as well as through inter-library loan. Four PCs access the library’s catalog and other electronic resources. Two Internet computers are available through reservation. We have one word processor, and WiFi is available free of charge.
The recent remodeling for the children’s area allowed for an expansion of library programs. Please see the Events tab on this website for a listing of upcoming programs. Recurring programs include:
