The ThinkCOLLEGE® & Career Center is a community based information and counseling Center open to all Charlotte-Mecklenburg students. The Center is an expansion of the Communities In Schools’ ThinkCOLLEGE® program which provides school-based college advising services to area students.

Services & Activities

Take advantage of a wide range of services and activities at the Center, including:
  • One-on-one counseling with professional ThinkCOLLEGE® Advisors and trained volunteers
  • College application assistance
  • Financial aid application assistance
  • SAT, ACT and PSAT preparation
  • Workshops for students and parents
  • Scholarship searches

Resources

You’ll also have access to extensive resources to help you plan for college:
  • 10 personal computers with college planning software and Internet connections
  • A comprehensive library of college catalogs, directories and other printed materials
  • Application forms for colleges and universities in North Carolina and many other schools
