The Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County continues to grow. Concrete plans are underway for several new library locations in the next few years, including "joint-use" and "outlet" facilities.

With Mecklenburg County's projected 42% population increase by the year 2012, our goal is to continue to make library usage as convenient as possible for the greatest number of citizens.
