What is it?Live Online Learning brings library programs to your computer by means of online conferencing. Participants who log in to the library's conference room will not only enjoy a multimedia presentation, but will also be connected for text and voice chat. Thus, questions (and answers!) from the participants enhance the experience for everybody.
How do I participate? To participate, simply check out our Upcoming Online Programs. You will be taken to the library’s online calendar of events. Click on the name of the program that interests you to enter the online conference room. View our instructional page for help logging in.
What does my computer need to run it? To join an online session you must have a computer with a high-speed internet connection. A headset with both earphones and a microphone would allow you to participate fully. It would also be possible, if you do not have a microphone attached to your computer, to listen, and ask questions or make comments by text chat.
